Writers like to write about writerly things, but...

Just got an email from an editor I pitched to, who said:

Hi Judy, Most everyday readers are not so interested in writers writing about their writing-related careers, and that's what writers seem to love most to write about. Makes sense, just not for our audience.

That is indeed what I'd like to write about. What it's like on the other end of this scope. So, I've started looking into writing competitions and other literary magazines in order to play around with that creative side of my skills, in addition to continually finding meaningful mediums that are more mainstream.

If you've any ideas on fun literary mags to pitch to, I'd love to hear them!
